first met the founders of Conversation Concepts in late 2008
and, being animal lovers quickly became enamored with their
broad line of amazingly detailed pet figurines. When we
met, the company was beginning to assess its best "going forward
strategy" given a declining economy and a shrinking retail channel.
As our relationship developed, we continued
to find synergies and complementary skills between the two companies,
and ultimately entered into a strategic partnership in early
2010. Under this partnership, we will be working to optimize
CCI's presence in the on-line market, and to develop new, specialized
product offerings to take advantage of contemporary gift market
In addition, we are launching a series of
new ventures of our own to extend the distribution of CCI's
products, notably a series of niche product web sites focused
on their product subcategories. The first of these new
